So here it is. Barry's new ride.

And to say it's council is an understatement! This F ucker looks like it's ram raided a shop specialising in AC Sphincter tat. It has every trinket in the catalogue bar a set of Anal eyes.

Today I had the pleasure of using it while Barry did some work on my car. While waiting for my daughter outside her school, I looked like a Crack dealer!

I'll let the photos do the talking but there is a story behind this. I got a call last week from him stating that the sport had been hibernated for the winter and the M5 isn't ready yet. So he had no wheels! The next day I got a cold call asking if I'd be interested in a 328i coupe in Madeira Violet, with ACS this and ACS that, steel liner block and an M50 manifold mod which was MOT'd till next August. I agreed to buy the car virtually on the spot.

Immediately I had this vision. Clear as day. It would suit our man down to the ground. So Sunday we picked it up and Barry's going to use it until he either sorts something else out or I run out of breakers and this ones time has come.

I've offered him a balaclava but strangely he's declined it. I reckon he loves a bit of wrongness if the truth be known!

Just look at it! what a gem!

Check out the arch adjustments from when it "woz in der weeds!"

Inside it's a true ACS fest with indigo sport leathers just to give Pete a semi.

With all due respect, it actually flies and drives quite well, albeit a bit wayward on it's 18" reps. She's had 4 new boots and a shed load of money spent (such as a full set of eibachs, some of which were in the boot!). But it's rougher than a badgers arse to be honest. It's fate is well and truly sealed. Put your orders in now!

You need to photograph it out side ML HQ. That'll add a few quid to its re sale value

It's council but bet it must be a relief not having to worry about keeping it in pristine condition.

Sooner or later Barry would get the OEM bug and return it to its former glory no doubt. You "lent" it to the right person Trev.

Strong steel liner B28 with M50 manifold anyone? Barrys put a good few miles on it and reckons it's the best car he's even driven!
