Dont want to ask on the facebook page as it's generally full of retards who know nothing these days. This seems to be the better place for a relistic view on things.

I have a M42 converted 1989 schwartz black 2dr 318 saloon 135k miles.
Recently Dyno'd at 150bhp at the flywheel

It has going for it

10Months Mot
16x8 alloys with 4mm+ Toyo t1r Alloys
3.71 LSD with 1 month old syntrax oil
51mm struts with lowering springs
IS grey tartan sport seats that are in excellent condition though passengers side doesnt recline for passengers to get into the rear.
Mtech1 Steering wheel
Short shifter
Walbro 255 Fuel pump
K&N Panel filter
Straight through exhaust with DTM Style rear
M42 engine fitted rebuilt at 106k Chassis miles with new components recipts exact engine mileage is unknown but showed healthy at the dyno considering there 132ish bhp standard.
Individual coil pack mod
M20 lightened flywheel
Chipped ecu
heater block removed form throttle body
New viscous fan
Good scuttle panel
x4 jacking points present and useable
underside rust wise is good and has been undersealed propperly for future protection (isnt smothered on to hide things)

The not so goods

No roof linning (but do have a black headlinning there to go with the car)

Power steering rack is noisey replaced pump to find the rack at fault, working fine as manual with the belt disconnected.

rust bubbling at o/s/r arch isnt crusty but is an eye sore looks to have had a previous repair at one stage as can see by pic below poor paint.

recent theft attemp resulting in key hole butchering and what looks to have slipped off and scratched the side two times, although locks still operate and useable but it is another eye sore.

O/S/R Wheel bearing starting to whine drum set up still fitted so should be an easier change if keeping but I planned a disc conversion so it never bothered me.

No glove box had to rip off as it locked and couldnt be unlocked had important documents inside at the time.

Scrape on front bumper + no fog lights/blanks

Bunch of pictures in no order comes with the silver dished wheels not the black bbs, Red trim around grills is removed also

With so many examples coming up and prices vary I find it hard to price mine

It is that arch that will have folk looking for something else I reckon. However, it looks like good fun, I would punt the wheels seperately and ask 1500 for the car myself? Good luck
How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

I'd ask £1500 but take anything north of £1250 to be fair with that

I think you'd get over a grand for it, but it depends how you sell it.

You've got evidence of engine work done and a Coil-on-plug kit fitted. That shows that you care about the car's performance. On the downside, it's overall scruffy and those Golf GTI-style grilles don't do you any favours.

But it's the multiple rust points that really hammer the car's value. Rear arch and scuttle will be the tip of the iceberg, and I expect there are a few more crunchy bits underneath (boot pockets, floor pan corners) if you exploring.

With a good clean and the right eBay ad, you might get your 1500 from some unsuspecting punter, but if you sell the wheels seperately you may have real trouble selling the rest of the car.

Thanks for the input I sold the black set so they ones fitted have to go with the car, and the golf red trim was the first thing to go when I bought the car there pics when I bought it.
Most are saying 1500 and is what I was going to ask for it don't have the time / space to break it
