Just posted my yellow light conversion... Used lamin-x, ordered from ECS tuning for 30$ or so.. Worked great.. Just clean light, peel off, stick on.. Here is the result..

Didn't do both as its not legal here in Canada... Cops would be on me like a fat kid on a smarty...

Well I`ve got some film and had a quick trial on one light and it works for me but the "chrome" outers look like they need painting black? or I could go titanium silver instead. What say you ??
Also , do these come off with the units still attached to the car?
Many thanks Mart.

It was getting dark and her indoors took 12 pics and this was the best
It was very easy to apply using a hair dryer and fingers and thumbs to "fold/spread" not force it into position and wrap around the edge of the lens.
I did end up painting the "bezzzzzles ?" Titan silver and I think they turned out OK but use black if you wish but I believe it keeps the old school look intact.
This now, with my period "luggage rack" on the rear is starting to look very decent.
Mart.
NB. For Christ sake don't use a hot air gun.!!!
You could end up with very silly fingers/stumps ,or, worst of all........ a cracked lens

MOT says " a matched pair of lamps both emit light substantially the same colour and intensity.
In a four head lamp system the outer pair of lights need not emit the same colour light as the inner pair

I used the same but it wasn't as easy as you make it sound. I found the film to thick a gauge and didn't wrap around the edge nicely without some heat. Its still not perfect, I think it would work better if the film was thinner.Split_S wrote:Used lamin-x, ordered from ECS tuning for 30$ or so.. Worked great..
