Just bought another 325 touring but went to take it for mot today and no ignition lights but will turn over but not start .i have jump started it and don't think I spiked it, check all fuses all good ?? Relays ? Haynes manual coming tomorrow . Thanks any help much appreciated Alex

Think it might not have power going to the ecu ??

If you have no power to the assorted warning lights that should come on when you switch on the ignition, but the starter works, then it seems likely that the ignition switch itself is faulty, or possibly the plug and socket part way down the steering column where the ignition switch plugs into the rest of the wiring.
Do the wipers work OK? (First ignition switch position.)
Do the reverse lights and headlamps work? (Second ignition position.)
Connect a piece of wire between the + terminal of the ignition coil and the + terminal of the battery, and try to start it.
