AIRBAG SUSPENSION !!
Moderator: martauto
After 2 shows and everyone saying i'd win a prize but not walking away with anything but the goodwill of the general public, i decided to ask one of the judges at the Extreme Show why i didn't win anything and the answer was simple "GET AIRBAG SUSPENSION" Apparently it's the thing to have at the moment and the 2 cars that walked away with all the prizes were slammed to the ground on them. I must admit they were a big crowd pleazer when they strarted to demonstrate it to people and i was enviouss (Just a little
) Anyway, i'm in the hunt for one now, so if anyone knows a Company that does them or anyone selling one then please let me know. I remember someone trying to sell one on the old forum and someone else suggested i bought, but i wasn't ready at the time. Anyone remember who was selling it? I have to do this to win some shows and give the Zone even more exposure
Cheers in advance for any help folks

Then i think the zone should get the airbag for me then. Only Ԛ£1850 fitted

Rayvern Hydrualics do that sort of thing...

and I've heard they are pretty good at it too.
Hope this helps...
P.s Bootyman, did you have coilovers on yours at the mo?

Nice one Fozzy. I'll give them a ding. Yes to your question mate. I have the fully height and dampning adjustable FK's at the mo. They've only been on the car for a couple of months and have done about 200 miles on them, but they will be up for grabs when/if i get the airbag

I'am doing a bit of homework on this at moment the kit you are looking at is also sold cheaper at
http://www.autofashion.co.uk/air_ride_suspension.htm
But its not the best kit in world from what I been told
If you want "cheapest" it would be 1/4" pipes with manual valves and a120psi
compressor that just switches on when you want pressure. Front would be coil
replacement bags.............. installed, about Ԛ£1500...............BUT it
will roll a lot on corners and be very slow [about 2 mins] in lift and drop
and minimum height will be around 1" lower than standard.
Personally I would go for a four corner [maintains handling] system with
solenoid valves [keeps the dumped air and moisture out of the cab area], a 5
gallon tank with auto pressure switch [so you always have pressure ready to
lift], 3/8" lines for reasonable lift and drop speed [about 10 seconds],
150 psi compressor [for long life as it will be running within limits al the
time], replacement struts to allow 4" drop from standard [if your tyres
allow it]............ installed, about Ԛ£2200.00
OR
The same but with 1/2" pipes for fast [about 2 sec] lift. About Ԛ£2800.00
All inc VAT and are road tested and setup.

Radback, thats one cool Avatar you got

X5 V8 for thrills, CRV for chills, Range Rover P38 V8 for sooooo much aggravation...
Thanks guys. I'm going to have a look at all the sites you've provided and make some inquiries

i got that installed by Rayvernhydraulics which i was to later regret..his kits are overpriced and there all slow and crap
now ive upgraded to fast valves which i got done by Mr Chillis Drop Shop..drops from max height to the floor in about 1 second:)
His site is at http://www.mrchillis.com/
your looking at about Ԛ£2500ish for fast bags with twin compressors etc although youll need to make a bit o space in your boot first the air tanks aint small
Cheers BaggedE30. I will have a look at their site and see what they can do for me.
