£1,500 for it seems rather steep. At least it's just a lowly 728 carb version, so no great loss.

That would need putting on a jig to pull it straight. With parts and labour, it'd be the think end of 2 grand.
What a bloody shame though - looks rampant in Reseda with Olive green cloth. 3 speed auto and a 4A1 DVG Solex - what a way to burn fuel.

The owner paid £12k for it and was trying to get a post smash valuation for the insurance pay out.
He contacted ML for advice.

Not when one is in Brum, surely? Tie a chain or rope around a suitable telegraph pole or tree and attach to the towing eye, drive away slowly and voila! Out will pop the annoying dent, or at least enough to whack in a dollop of gob...

Looks horrid paedo wagon that! Why give a dumb lie saying 700 quid to fix, I suppose there's some dumb ponys out there that might be a cheap fix!
