Hi guys,

When I went to Gaydon, I seen a few e30 m3 with the evo2 front (I think) with a small plastic spoiler that sits at the bottom.

Does anyone know where I could get one from and if so, how much?

I remember seeing one on the blue C9 TEJ!..sorry for the lack of pics

They are over £300 new from BMW and another £50 in fixings :( you won't find a used one and the fibreglass copies are race car gash.

If you want something badly enough then 350 isn't really big money.

Not sure if wires are crossed. There is an extra 'chin' spoiler that fits over the lower part of the bumper. This part was only fitted on Evolution 2 and Ceccoto / Ravaglia variants. That is the part I am talking about.
The Evolution Sport has an adjustable lower 'blade' that correct installation involves a different bumper skin, a different undertray and loads of other expensive bits. Most that you see attached to councilled up M3s will be snide and attached with woodscrews and Tigerseal
The ultimate "I'm a pikey and my turd is a racecar, innit " look involves a Evo 2 chin spoiler with a snide blade nailed to it, fully extended Ilford ring road stylee :(

I was on about the little plastic lip spoiler at the bottom as below...

but to be honest, i might think twice about getting it as i think it might look better without!

I bought one of these a few years ago along with a few other bits for my evo2

This guy sells a lot of m3 parts, expensive but you get what you pay for.

Was the £300 for the bumper just the bumper cover or did it include the bumper carrier as well?

300 will be for the splitter

A bumper is probably close to £1000

no a standard m3 bumper skin is £340 from germany and was very surprised as i was being quote a lot more but some m3 specialists rang bmw to get price to compare and said it was 340 ordered there and then over phone before they changed there mind when i picked up was same price

and the chin spoiler was £330 - 10%

so paid 600ish for both which i didn't think was to bad as bumper on eBay going for more

the evo bumper skin is £700

So bmw double the price just for drilling some holes for you on the evo bumpers, nice.

I'm pretty sure the bumper is a different molding. The underside lip ( I think ) is a different shape. Not that I think it makes much difference.

Sport evolution bumper cover is dimensionally exactly the same as a standard cover BUT is lighter and has lots of extra holes underneath for the unique under tray and adjustable blade.
These were well over £1000, just for a standard M3 cover so i am very surprised if they can now be bought for Ca £300 ! :o

I was thinking the standard bumper has to kinda square cut outs on the underside lip ( where a SE under tray would bolt to ), where as the SE item doesn't have these, making it a different bumper molding, rather that the stock with some extra holes as was mentioned.

Not sure what is going on but as of now there are no £309 bumper covers left anywhere and no standard carriers and no quoted production / delivery date. There is one Evolution 2 cover left at £738 + vat , no Sport Evolution covers left and one just one Sport Evolution carrier .

The last available cover and carrier will shortly be seen on ebay :D

Pacer is right, the Evo 3 bumper is lighter than the standard M3 item.

Just came across this, not sure if it's a genuine or a copy so you will need input from one of the experts.
