Hello!

I'm Pascal, and this is my ride I use for drifting:
It's a '84 BMW E30 320i (Yeah, just a 125hp car) 2-doors sedan.
The engine is completely stock, some of the modifications I've done are :

- 316 differential with 4.1 final drive (welded)
- Koni shocks with MAD 60/40 lowering springs
- LTEC bucket seats with Sparco 4-point seat belts
- Sparco suede steering wheel
- Completely stripped out.

So , yeah , you see, it's nearly stock, but due to the light weight and good diff , it's all you need ( on wet surface, at least.. )

I've started drifting like halfway previous year, I've done my first competition ever this year in April, the Amateur class, I've done 4 rounds this year, one is yet to come, the final round, next week btw.. and I've got 3 podium finished of the 4 rounds, wich makes me currently 2nd in the overall championship. Next week are the finals, and we aim for the for the 1st overall ofcourse! :P I just wanted to try this , and showing people you don't need lots of horsepower to be competitive at drifting (again, on amateur level and wet surface  )

Anyway, after next week, I will finally upgrade the E30 further. This was a year of expirimenting, gaining some experience, the future mod list is listed at the bottom of my text :D

One more thing : I've got 60/40 springs on my car, look at that wheel gap, it's rediculous ! I don't understand? Ofcourse, the car is stripped, but that shoudln't make the difference THAT BIG, right? Anyway, I've ordered a KW V1 Coilover set, hope this will solve it..

Some videos :

onboard two little laps , bad camera angle, i'm sorry.

old video of me, from the outside. 3rd gear flat out LOL

When it all started back in 2013 ! :D

This is a nice onboard video, but LOTS of mistakes, it's a old video..

I notice I can't upload pictures from my computer? So there are only a few pics I've found on the internet : here it goes :

The plans for this winter are :
- hydraulic handbrake (it's been laying in my garage for about more then half a year.. )
- KW Variant 1 coilovers
- OMP rollcage
- Z3 steering rack
- M52B28 or M30B35 engine swap (I don't know yet..)
- maybe camber plates..
- maybe polyurethane bushings.

So that's about it, I guess, any questions or advice? Feel free to go! I wont bite .. hard

Welcome, remember on an early car the rear arch profile (and rear valance) is quite high and it may "look" like it isn't as low
How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

Thanks everyone. Yeah, the weather really is sad over here..

Btw,
here is the latest video, of yesterday at a local drift cup at circuit zolder. 3rd place result of the day and a final standing at the second place in the championship.

Now it's time to rebuild the e30!

Friendly regards.
