I need to know, are the steering wheels on my E34 and E30 interchangable? I have a large E34 factory wheel on my 1989 E34 (before the wheel change in 91) and I have an E30 M-Tech 2 370mm steering wheel on my E30, which is smaller.

I want to put the M-tech 2 on the E34, and the big wheel on the E30 because without power steering, I need a bit more leverage.

Will this swap work fine? will the two wheels interchange perfectly, and most importantly, is the M-Tech 2 going to work ok on the E34?

I believe the 34 had its wheel assembly changed to the new style in 1991, but this is a 1989 E34, so I'm hoping its E30 compatible.

Help would be greatly appreciated, as I don't have much time to do it!

Thanks!

Yea, the E36 and '91 onwards E34/E31 I believe are the later style. Just wanted to make certain. If anyone else could comfirm this it would be good. It's not that I don't believe you, its that if I can't say for 100% certain it will work, she who drives the E34 is likely to smack me in the head. :(
