Hi,
Ive been trying to find an answer to what coilovers I need.
Ok, So I have a 4 door 318i and ive just done the m50 conversion. Im now looking for some coilovers and will be converting the rear drums to disks. What size coilovers do i need? 45mm or 51mm?
Has anyone fitted v maxx coilovers? My budget is around the £500 mark, its mainly for looks as I doubt I will be going around the track in it but at the same time I don't want a sh*t ride.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

a 318i should have 45mm struts from the factory.
i wouldnt waste money on v maxx coilovers, they are shite.
spend an extra 1-200 on a set of bc's

yea the rears are the same for both.
actually the fronts are the same too, just the sleeves for the 45mm are thicker, one could argue that they are therefore stronger too
