just been told about this site by a mate on celtic-cruise,

ive just sold my s13 200 sx as i want something without a turbo that is still fairly pokey, and strong, and i cant think of anything better than a bmw, and what better shape than the E30.

good looking site people,

does anyone in the plymouth area have a 325i for sale, ill concider anything, but im looking for a 3 door really,

anything i should look out for with them, common rust spots, worrying engine noises, or suspension clunks, im good with cars and im an engineer so i have a fair idea but any experienced help would be great,

Once rolling marginally slower than an astra gte 16v, and quicker than one off the line, they actually hook up quite well if you have a slipper, so still a fairly quick car for the 80s :D

Well i have an mtech1 325is and it was quicker than my mates s13 200sx.... (until he chipped and remapped it to 217bhp) :-x
Off the line the nissan did not stand a chance, but admittedly 3rd gear was the nissans strong point cos it would do a ton, as mine only does 90 cos of the close ratio box... Then once in fourth the torque of the straight 6 shines through..... Just my experience anyway... As for astra gtes and even the astra gsi 16valve i never have any problem leaving them for dust... winkeye winkeye

yeah ive did gte's too winkeye

granted they are very quick but ive beat a couple but on
the other hand they might have been a bit ropey as
there arent many nice gte's going around anymore

At the end of the day there must not be alot innit in terms of weight, both around 1200kg, but a bmw has the obvious advantage of 170bhp whilst the gte is looking at around 150bhp i think.....
