fitting a tech 2 rear bumper on a prefacelift

Hi guys i recently purchased a tech 2 kit but how do i fit the rear bumper any help would be great

Do u live in Birmingham and drive a convertible?

Generally they don't fit because there not supposed to. Need bodging on.

No i dont live in birmingham
I live in stockton

I do have a 90s convertible even though it had facelift sides and front the rear is still prefacelift
I was thinking of cutting the lower rear valance off a facelift car anf welding it in mine so the bumper fits and i still have the preface lights as i prefer them
Would this work if i cut from the arch all the way round and welded it on

As you can see, it's a massive bodge that never looks right.
