Hi Ben,

I can't confirm the answer to your question, but the guys at Cotswold BMW are very helpful. Try Ross Hands or James Aston on 01242 578838.

Are you in the middle of turbocharging then?

Cheers, Michael

Hi michael
hows things mate? is the supercharging done?

well iv spoken to ARP again and they have a set which accomodates the M60/62 so iv gone for a set of those as well as a set of ARP head studs.

yea I'm half way though the twin turbo conversion on the M60 now, building the manifolds is bait of a headache but just spending my time on it.
bloody frustrating though getting it right so i can TIG all the tubes.

Hi Ben, I'm still making one step forwards and two steps backwards with the engine rebuild. Latest news is that the piston circlips and pins may not be quite right, according to my engine builder. This means another email to the States for assistance. More down time..... I sometimes think I'm jinxed with this project.

You're making good progress though, I reckon. I can understand your frustration with building the manifolds, but it'll be worth it in the end, for sure.

My other Touring has failed its MOT on rear subframe corrosion and will need new inner and outer wings etc anyway. I was going to sell it, but have decided to keep it and get it restored at some stage and maybe an engine conversion too. It's got to be my back-up family wagon, so it can't be stripped out or too loud or low........

Catch up again when I've got more news. You'll have your twin turbo on the road before mine is done.

ohh dear mate, well keep you chin up on it. i know exactly how you feel sometimes when i want to just sell the bugger because my life would be so much easier

I seriously am looking forward to finishing this project as its been on going for around 7 years now haha (keep changing my mind)

I'm still looking into management at the minute too, just really undecided on how much money i want to throw at it?

Cheers Ben,

I suppose the question is, if you won the lottery would it make all those decisions easier, or would you just have too much choice?! It wouldn't be a case of what's affordable, but what you'd like to have on or in your car. I think I'd be making changes even more often! That said, I'm not against winning the lottery........

We'll both get there, I'm sure. I'm not selling mine!
