M20 wiring help

hi all,

would like some help on this matter if possible

just swapped a m20b25 with a Mtronic 1.3 conversion into my prefacelift 1987 e30 with original body loom.

Now the issue im having is with the c104 plug...

Have connected the ecu pin 6 and pin 32 to the c104 as stated in the Zone m20 swap guide however still not got a working tachometer, ecometer, or temp gauge.

Have read online something to do with pin 9 on the c101 needs to be connected to the c104???

Am i correct, please could someone who has knowlage on this issue please guide me

Check the voltage and condition of the two SI board batteries in your instrument cluster before you get too involved with the engine swap wiring. Presumably the car's main battery has been disconnected while this swap has been going on, and without life support from that, the SI board batteries may have died.
Are the SI LEDs behaving properly?
