Anyone ever run a 6 cylinder E30 with just the back box and no middle box? My 323i e30 is 1984 and pre cat.

Me, Always one of the first things I remove. On the m30 I have 3 into 1 x2 then 2 into 1 and straight through to back box.

Also be aware that BMW spent a lot of time working out the distance to the first box to get the most power out of the engine.

Pscer would you go for a Scoprpion full exhaust 3 piece system or Powerflow straight through with rear silencer which is £200 cheaper I think ?
The powerflow dealer garage in Brentford said he can do it so is 100dB loud at my request ?

which would u choose for the Sport :-) ?

I use the power flow back box and the rest is custom as with most pf systems. It will come down to the builder as to how effective it is.

Neither as they are both extremely crap and council !

Soni, I assume you do realise that noise does not = power ?

On a serious note, if you get a really noisy zorst, you will need some bigger ICE as the bitchez won't be able to enjoy /endure the Collins / Survivor/Bronski Beat tunez :)

Pacer you got to check out my tunes I got even more good ones now from Sade, SOS Band etc

I wanted something loud and with a pleasant exhaust sound

Scorpion 3 piece full exhaust system is £560 parts only
Is apparently the loudest off the shelf exhaust and quite a few rate it
Has centre box and rear silence though
Kos gives it 7/10 for sound when the definition of 10/10 for sound is this ....

Powerflow appeals to me also because

1. Arab bloke who lives near me with new shape 6 series coupe and his powerflow exhaust sounds amazing
Can hear each gear change
It pops and bangs
I can hear him 0.25 mile away
I can always tell when he is going past by his exhaust
I got a quote over the phone from some Pakistani bruvs from Brentford who are powerflow dealer
I said I wanted 100db exhaust and they said pop In for a proper quote but have me a figure all in roughly £200-300 think he said £300
I said I wanted the tips to look BMW OEM
2. Powerflow is cheaper than New Scorpion

I don't want New Genuine BMW exhaust because too quiet and also ££££
BTB waste of money IMO as is too ££££ and apparently Scorpion sounds better
BTB only improves by what 10bhp plus which in the grand scheme of things will get used to pretty quicklu
