Hi. What's the best way to improve the e30's lighting? There's a piece in 'Classic Cars' about fitting LED bulbs. This seems a good move? I'd be grateful for any thoughts, advice on this. Thanks. J

Conventional 'best way' of improving E30 (dipped beam) lights is to fit 35W HID burners and ballasts. This technology will eventually be replaced by LED, but AFAIK the DIY aftermarket hasn't quite reached there yet, at least at a sensible price.
A lot of complaints about E30 dipped lights are because they are aiming too low. They have a very sharp beam cut off, and need to be set accurately.
