I've been just going for fuel when the light comes on,
so I thought the sender unit might be faulty,
I pulled the connectors off today and the needle dropped right off,
but when i pulled the sender unit out, there seemed to be at least a quarter of a tank in there
(judging by the level in the tank and you could see the depth on the residue on the sender it's self)
I thought the "light" was controlled via the other sender, on the fuel pump side..?
anyway,,, so I put the same sender unit back in, plugged in the wires and the needle moved to my surprise, to just under the last mark on the gauge..
but the light is still on :/
so, question is..
Are both level senders at fault?
or
Is the single level sender faulty?
