Does anyone know if there is a step by step guide or could supply me with there own step by step guide off moving the Clio servo over the 50 mm or however much required when fitting an m50/s50 engine ?
Thanks in advance

You don't need to move the servo over normally if you use a Clio servo - it's a smaller diameter than the E30 original.
AFAIK, I was the first on here to move the standard servo over instead, when I did my first M50 conversion some twelve years ago. This was done by cutting a new hole in the bulkhead, closer to the wing, fitting a blanking/reinforcing plate to cover the old hole and strengthen the new, extending the bracing for the bell crank off of the transmission tunnel, and using a cut down E34 pull rod to go across to the pedals. I also moved the steering column outwards where it goes through the bulkhead at the same time, to give clearance between the steering shaft and the exhaust manifold. This required modifications to the clutch pedal to clear the column inside the car.

Thank you buddy
I'm repeatedly seeing people say they move the servo over but I must be getting my wires crossed in regards to a standard servo and the Clio one.
I'm doing the s50 conversion and I've used a Clio servo and t4 transported master cylinder. I have had all new brake lines made and I was starting to panic I'd have to rip it all out and re-do it as I'd have to move the servo over.

You will need to move it over to clear the S50 plenum

Ahhh I see dan, I've just had all new lines made too along with a brake biased valve attached to the passenger side turret
Looks like I'll be having the plenum modified then instead as a friend is a welder by trade so will save all the hassle and money.
Could someone tell me what e34 5 series throttle cable is used please ?

Welding the plenum isn't easy because its cast. Your mate will need to be good with a tig welder!
On the up side, as you've used the Clio servo you won't need to cut so much of the plenum.

E34 cable is no good for the S50. There is no off the shelf cable that will work. You need an S50 cable and either have it shortened or move the mounting bracket on the inlet runner to take up the slack.daniboi328 wrote: Could someone tell me what e34 5 series throttle cable is used please ?

I think getting the plenum altered is a cheaper/easier process at this stage.
Ok buddy thank you
