I have a 325i cabby that seems to flatten the battery if left over night, Iv noticed the elec window switches are always iluminated and work even with the ignition off and the key removed. Dose anybody have any idea where to start looking as to why? I'm new to the e30 thing so don't know how the system works yet. Thanks

On the front edge of each door, where the hinges are, there should be a round black plastic button that lines up with, and presses in, the pin switch mounted in the A pillar when the doors are shut.
Check that both of these are present.

Yes, they all work without the key in the ignition and with the door open or closed
