Do you guys have any ideas on if the WMS Kit would fit using E30 M3 5 Lug struts? The disc is the same size...

I am assuming not but thought it might be worth looking into.

Cheers,

Do you mean the 280mm kit for 4 stud E30s?

You could probably use the calipers (depending on disc thickness), but the caliper brackets would be no good. I'm sure WMS do a kit for the M3 though, so it could be worth a PM to see if something could be sorted.

Yep - although have been advised by Keri I'd have issues with the relatively small disc size. Sadness!

You can fit 298mm WMS set up under 16" Hartges, wouldn't the M3 16" wheels be the same?

Possibly. The 850i Brembo 4 pot caliper fits under the 16" BBS M3 wheel (it's the disc that causes issues), but I guess its down to the caliper design.

Also try finding some 16" M3 wheels! :(

I ran my S50 with standard E30 M3 brakes and they were fine for fast road use - not sure about track use though :?

The problem is the lugs on the 5-stud type struts are longer (E30 M3 and E36 anyway), and get in the way of the lug on the caliper.

The smallest we can manage is about 320-330mm - there are plans to get round this in the future but currently it's a no-go! :?
