I'm after replacing the shocks on the M3 and I was wondering which ones do I go for.
Ideally after something for a normal ride.
TIA.

So far as I know, the original Boge dampers are NLA (both from BMW and Boge themselves), but somebody on here may know of a source.
I don't think Bilstein do a B4 for the M3 (which is roughly close to the original spec), which leaves you with the B6 - a great damper but pretty stiff for UK roads.

Where's the best place to look for the B6's ?
I'm running new oem springs which are 2 years old and I'm wanting a normal ride.

B6 are fine for normal road driving, and its not like the S14 is a lightweight donkey either, matched with genuine springs I dont think you can go wrong TBH

B6's will be fine 8's are a little stiff, but then you are a fairly portly chap

about 150 for fronts and 110 for rears. My mate works for euros and you cant get them any cheaper than that.. standard price no discounts on billies

I asked for a price for 31322225397 in August this year and was told they're NLA - but then of course there may well be an alternative part number?bss325i wrote:E30 M3 shocks were not NLA from BMW last time i checked.
I guess it's all about asking the right questions!
