I'm thinking of selling my 325is but not sure what to do for the best so would appreciate your thoughts.
When I got it in December 2012 I put a cam belt, tensioner and water pump on it and then gave it the usual service. Since then I've rebushed the front end and put a full set of new H&R dampers and springs on, had the original wheels refurbed and then used it every day as my daily driver.
I've just had it tracked up and put 4 x new Toyo Proxes on it, had it MOT'd and put 6 months tax on it.
There are some niggling faults with it: -
Speedo seems to have given up the ghost / sparks into life whenever it feels like it.
Strut tops need replacing - I did buy some from ECP to put them on while I was putting the H&R kit on but typically they didn't fit and then wouldn't take them back but that's a different story.
Drivers door lock is semi buggered so have to use the boot lock instead.
Rear arches could do with doing.
The cream (ish) leather seats that I thought I would warm to are still as horrible as the day I bought it
It's not mint. Ok, this is an obvious comment for a 25 year old daily driver car and I wouldn't say its a knacker by a long stretch but it is now doing my head in a bit.
I'm not sure what to do now - cut my losses and sell it as it is, fix the above and then sell it (knowing full well that with the bits fixed i'll fall back in love with it again !) or fix the above and keep it.
If I'm honest I don't think I'd keep it for much longer even after the bits are fixed because I want to change to an old Ford as my daily...
What do you all think ?
