its a dead ringer for this, its the car Bob Harper owns who is the editor for BMW car mag. Its a totally stock 6 speed, grey cloth inside :? but it does have working EDC with reciepts for replacements also in the last 20,000 miles. The MAF has just been refurbished also

Its covered 133,000. Its had the sills welded at the rear to a high standard in his time. It defo tugs at the heart strings more, it ripe for an interior swap and adding a few options too, to make it how i'd like it. Which i've got a few bits lined up already. It does need TLC but its again a going concern not needing a complete rebuild plus they only built 139 RHD i think. 50 were the LE models so that doesn't leave many normal 6 speeds about.

If its not a nail i think i'd settle for this, i mean 6 speeds have nurburgring suspension, 4 pots with floating discs

I've also heard the purple 6 speed wagon at the start of the thread has sold apparantley

Not yet! Hes on route so should be here in about an hour, what will he make of the mighty iX on the drive? :o

An interior donor car may have appeared near guildford with an extended champagne trim! Even the Dash is leather clad!

Would go rather nicely with Avus blue me thinks

This is my first M power car, i've broken the trend after about 6 alpinas i think

Anus annie is a sept 94 built 6 speed

Well i've had a poke, a play and a drive for about 10 miles on my own. They say never meet your heros but in this case i don't think thats true. Plenty of pics and lots to talk about!

Image

Image

On the drive so you know its really here, the e30 has got the hump again no doubt

Image

The mill, 133,000 and i don't think its had any major surgery in its life so far.......................

I however find a cruise control plug for the actuator! So the loom must be fitted and i've the bits for that so i shall be having a crack at that

Image

Image

Bit grim here i think we will all agree, if it was tidy and black cloth theres a chance i'd clean it and keep it.

My choices at the moment are an extended grey leather trim which needs some fettling or maybe buying a 3.65 shitter with the champagne extended epic trim. I'm trying to see the car first as its local but i'd like to change it.

rear blind needed aswell, love a shagging blind. I'd pay for door blinds too if anyone has any!

Image

Image

Plus point is 5 wheels in fantastic condition with nearly new F1 tyres on all 5. Plus the front discs are like new. One less bill

Image

missing one spanner i think, is this also one of those cheeky spark plug jobbies ala E30 M3 and worth silly money?! Not forsale if so

Down to the usual photo hot spots

theres lots to do, but overall it drives very well i think. Its had the front EDC struts replaced in the last 10,000 miles, i'm not sure on the rear. Theres no 55mph shimmy. A slight vibration under hard braking. The clutch i'd guess feels original so a change wouldn't go amiss here. The interior needs sorting as in i'd like to change it for something nicer. The air con isn't working. A rear electric window is seized. Bootlid is scabby and i wouldn't mind losing the spoiler anyhow, some kind chap has fucked the drivers door as you can see by driving into it and driving off. I've not got it up in the air yet to have a proper look at the mechanicals but famous last words i'm hoping not to rebuild the entire car as its had money spent on it in its life by the previous owners

She feels quick, quicker than i thought. In comparison to the bi turbo. No slouch like a big 6 should. The noise is epic but i've only revved it to 5 so far.

Bit of looker too, nicer than the bi turbo dare i say!
