the fuel thing was bmw putting a 10 litres of fuel in the car or so, so it had enough to be moved about, driven home, round the forcourt, etc thats all. Every car that left the plant in the world would have that!
AG transit protection? See the new volvos and other new cars on the transporters with bits of foam and tape stuck to them? thats what it is, so if a car gets knocked or bumped it shouldn't get marked or scratched before it's sold! To help keep it as fresh as it was before it left the factory!
E30 Vehicle Specification optional extras

Maybe (in regard to the fuel) but I haven't seen it on on any of the other E30's I've owned in the past, both earlier and later models. Also if it were standard why have it on the spec list as if it were an option? 'Additional fuel' gives the notion that there was some there anyway. Anyone else have a spec list that refers to '850 - Additional fuel'?Simon13 wrote:the fuel thing was bmw putting a 10 litres of fuel in the car or so, so it had enough to be moved about, driven home, round the forcourt, etc thats all. Just checked the spec sheets for my cars and they both state additional fuel. Come to think of it, I have worked for two car companies in the past and they also charged the dealer for the factory tea spoon full of fuel and paint and interior covering for transportation, and guess what ... this was incorporated in the 'on the road' price to the customer!
