I am changing my steering wheel this week... What size is the nut, so that I can do this? I know this might sound a stupid question, but my socket set only goes up to 19, and I reckon 22 is nearer the mark!!!

Yup, its 22mm and you'll need a decent breaker bar

Cheers

A four armed wheel brace should have a 22mm socket on it, incase you have one lying around.

Good old imperial socket fits it too. Can't remember which one, maybe 593/1043.

They're sockets measured in some stupid fraction of an inch. Bodged onto metric nuts by those of us too tight to buy a new set.
