Hello all, I can't find anywhere that sells inner cv joint kits. Keep spinning it off the splines as busting the joint up. That seems to be the weakest point so I want to re build my shafts and then weld the coupler on the shaft

£250-£350 is the going rate for a used LSD and most of these will probably require a rebuild anyway...

I do the same, seems to be better the newer the driveshaft (waits for comments)
How low is your car? They really don't like crazy camber at the back, when are they breaking? With a welded diff you want to avoid 90 point turns as they really do you no favous

And as for an LSD, depending what the application is, id rather not spend the money on a diff that will do the job properly (for me) as frankly I'll spend lots of money on a rebuilt/getting it to lock up as I require for it then to basically drive the same as a welded diff!

They seem to be breaking while doing a burnout and the rear judders, think I need a taller tyre which should help to break traction easier and harder shocks and springs.

Just a hero
Bought the car with lowered springs and uprated dampers not sure on suspension spec or make. 16 inch wheels with low profile tyres ( I think this is possibly 1 of the reasons.)

I found that tyres dont really change it, with 245s ill snap cvs with 195s ill still snap them.
Camber seems to be the biggest factor as as above just try and get new or ones with not many miles on...
If your burnout king than linelock will release some of the stress as you wont be on the rear brakes....

Fitting springs that bring the suspension geometry back into the area where it actually works, losing the insurance invalidating diff. and stopping driving like a complete dick seems to be the obvious solution to your problems.

Why would it be insurance invalidating? Here we go again....

Right, I'll ask a direct question: Has the OP, or yourself, if you have one, declared this modification to your insurer?
