Which is the loudest exhaust for E30 325i ?
I had a look at scorpion you tube videos and tbh they look quiet
Is it just the back box u need ?
To they add or reduce power ?
Anyone can tell me what OEM exhaust sounds like ?
Apparently is quiet but if you look at any online review of older 6 cylinder BMWs they say the older BMWs are louder than the newer BMWs
I may be interested in future in changing exhaust. But I want it to be loudest one possible so it annoys the fuck out of everyone or gives then the most enjoyment depending on your viewpoint
ATM I have Bosal
Baffles are worn
Sounds amazing in Hyde park tunnel
And is loud but I want louder!!!!

The loudest would just be the 3pc exhausts downpipes.
Anyone who has ever tried that one will know what I mean.

Righto seen as I got this thread already .... Thought I post on here
Need a new exhaust soon so narrowed it down these options
Scorpion full system 3 piece. However, looks like has centre box. Won't this make it too quiet ????
How loud are Scorpions ? All the YT videos don't sound that good
http://www.scorpionexhaust.co.uk/scorpi ... 1998-p.asp
Powerflow UK custom exhaust
This maybe bit cheaper but I want it to be F ing loud, like TVR with a few pops and bangs and the guy says he can make it 100dB loud should I want that so ppl can hear every gear change and reverbs everywhere. I think the quote was like £300 maybe a bit more
Done while u wait
Still not sure which to go for ? Is scorpion full system proper loud ?

Soni, serious question = why do you want people to look at you ?
What are you going to do when one of your neighbours, who enjoys a lie in, decides to brick / key up your turd ?

Because when it sounds good it feels good to drive
All part of the enjoyment
Good very loud exhaust system
Good very loud sound system
LSD
The simple pleasures
Apparently eisnanm make OEM exhausts for Porsche and AMG
They look pretty expensive
Nice tips though
And can choose sport or race sound

full BTB system is pretty loud and also sounds pretty sh!t too. Scorpions are loud best noise! Mongoose are loud they are kack sounding also naff tail pipes
Alpina system is probably the best stock noise but much louder and more bass. Nice and meaty

Pony, don't make yourself look like a c*nt!! A nice 'sporty' sounding exhaust like a Scorpion or Eisenmann will be fine- nice burble on tickover and a howl at certain points in the rev-range if that's what you're after. A standard Bosal still sounds nice though. Your car isn't ratted/stanced and you're not 18...

BTW Pony I have a full s/s Scorpion on mine and I love the sound of it. It's rather council looking but it's not too in your face decibel wise and sounds awesome at 4k rpm

What do you think of Eisenmann ? Sound wise how does it compare to Scorpion ?
Full BTB which the exhaust manifold alone is £1k is too expensive for me.
Full Alpina how much are they ?
