Southwest meet @ Thornfalcon Classics Aug 31st

I've been to this meet a number of times over the years and thought it would be a good chance for the SW Zoners to get to together (and any others that want to venture over )

It's not a show, its a classic car meet. Its free and usually attracts 1000+ vehicles of all ages, size, shape, make and model. Some are pristine garage queen classics, others are not so polished!

Its normally an arrive and park type meet, but if there's enough interest, I can speak to the organiser to get us some space 'booked'.

So its Sunday 31st August, about 9-9.30am TBC. Location The Parklands, Henlade, Taunton TA35NB - 5mins from J25 of the M5.

totally forgot to add a meeting time and place!

I'll suggest meeting at the Murco Petrol station TA12UH as its right on the M5 J25 roundabout, so its nice and easy to find. And its only 5mins from the meet itself. I reckon on 9:30am at the Murco station, leaving about 9:45 ish so we can arrive and get parked together.

If anyone is up for a small drive after, I can sort a route over the Blackdown Hills to arrive at a watering hole near Wellington not far from J26 M5.

Until about an hour ago my touring didn't have an exhaust, but it's back to its normal quiet self now.
So it just needs a clean and it will be ready for tomorrow!

Mines because i made the mistake of spending over £1000 on an exhaust I thought wouldn't leak, but that's another story.

My turd's had a good wash today, and tried out a new amazing wax! See you all soon!

Cool. I spoke to Steve (the organiser) yesterday and they might not be doing club parking as such, just parking groups if they arrive together. I'll try and keep a space or two but not sure if it will be possible.
