Too early to start a winter project..

Naaa, course it's not

I picked up this "solid shell" a couple of days ago,

yes, complete with clear indicators, eyebrow spoilers and smoked rear lights







it's had a pair of rear arches/quarters put on already

BUT.........

the inner's are a bit worse for wear, on both sides







So looks like i'll be getting the grinder and welder out to sort the mess!



and it will probably be getting a blow over as im sure the paint is not right,
it's supposed to be



but it looks more dulux black or mebbies gloss black,
either way, it's not right.

I'm sure once i've finished with it, it'll be all goooood

lost my hand at one point

on a brighter note, the super rare morsels have been removed, lights, brow spoiler thingamajigs, the super power mighty 4 pot is next

Then, it's a full bare shell strip down

Nice, those inner arches aren't that bad really, i've seen a lot worse. Looks like a cracking little project, looking forward to this one

Yeah I've seen worse in that area, but those are the tame pictures,

I'll get some up of the real mess,
it looks like the whole drivers side rear quarter, might have to come off to do the top of the inner

but I have a vision, I can see what it's going to look like when it's done,
it'll take time and a lot of effort to get there, im in no rush.

and engine wise, hmm i'm toying with a couple of ideas
