Are you talking about when you do the 2.7 conversion?

Cause you will need to replace the ECU and wiring that goes to it.

If you want to leave the wiring loom on the engine then you need to disconnect the ECU plug above the drivers right knee, and push it back through the bulkhead by the battery tray.
You don't need to remove the gearlever either.

Thats what im talking about! I want to take out the ecu with the engine and box! So unplug ecu, ive seen that already!
So after I unplug the ecu, I unscrew the ecu and do what??
Sorry for all the questions but Im not so good with wires but im good at the dirty stuff!

Its much easier to keep the wiring harness on than to remove it , just remove as stated the ecu , pull the harness through the bulkhead , remove the earth straps ,unplug the harness connection just above the servo , coil and thats about it

Though this answered it. The harness to the ECU comes through a large grommet near the front battery tray. Pull out the grommet and pull the ECU harness (and the two little sockets on a bracket beside the ECU) back into the engine bay.
Coil, couple of wires on both sides of the battery, the three relays under the cover next to the air meter, and the C101 plug and socket next to the fusebox, and the whole loom comes out with the engine.

If it's a 1.8, then the relays won't be where I said. They're under the cover on the bulkhead.
