Hello zone.
Wondering if any of you can help me out.

I've picked up a diff from an 1993/94 e34 2.5 TDS SE for my engine conversion.
The diff I believe is an LSD as the tag reads S2 65 9912.

I want to get this on my touring and I've read a lot of different things.
Some can be fit by swapping the back plates and out put shafts for e30 items and others say you ha ve to re-house the internals in an e30 medi case.
The back plate has 6 bolts if that helps.

Any way what asking is help on identifying what I need to do to please or somone to point me in the right direction as once again the internets has confused me.

Thanks in advance!

I might be wrong but the mounting points don't look the same as e30.

It's s 2,65 LSD.

Thanks. Is that all I have to do? It just seems too simple haha.

I shall have a better look at it tomorrow night and measure the top holes. ive read somwhere on other forums about them having to be 188mm apart?

It might fit, but it'll be completely undriveable unless you're using an M5x gearbox. That ratio is way too low.

The car is receiving a full m51 swap. Engine gear box and diff all going well.
I have all the parts now. Just getting my head around a few bits.

I've realised I have got the diff upside down in those pictures so they are useless to you all as you can even see the mounting points haha.
