Hi guys

I have a genuine roof bar set for an E36 touring, but missing the key....can you give me any info on how I can get a replacement key please?

The part number for the key is 82799405012 if that helps....I believe they are coded...

Hi Simon its not as easy as that unfortunately.I have asked BMW how to go about this and they have replied saying!

WHEN THE SET IS SOLD THERE IS NORMALLYA CARD THE
CUSTOMER HAS TO KEEP WITH THE KEY CODE ON AS THESE
ARENOT RECORDERD AS THEY ARE ACCESSORY PARTS.
SOMETIMES THE NUMBER IS STAMPED ON THE LOCK.
FAILING THAT A NEW LOCK WITH KEY HAS TO BE
ORDERED AND FITTED DEPENDING ON ROOF BAR TYPE.

Hi Simon well unless there is a key number on the lock barrell then yes! or even a bmw part number for the bars to try and get a new key and barrell
