Drive shafts

Hi everyone I'm just trying to figure out if e30 drive shafts are the same ? Ie disc/drum difference in medium case diff to a small case diff are the flanges the same or not. I've got abs on my 318is but sure I could jut weld the abs ring on a different one if they are the same that's

think the only difference is the abs rings, im using small case drum drive shafts and have changed to disc and also to medium case using the same shafts.

Heres a photo of the 2. Splines seemed to be different on non abs/small case driveshaft when i went to fit it into the hub so ordered another big case driveshaft and went in no problem could be on year one was 87/91
