There is another angel.. on the amount ,, these 2 cars are based on,,,

an average,, or normal buyer,, who wants a car that can fly to 200 mph ( the needle on the odo tacho WILL REACH 200mph or 320 km )
will not think twice if a MERCEDES E55 kompressor would stand next car to these mighty old uncles..
more power... better brakes.. cheaper,, fantastic ride,, thrilling sound .. and 12-15 year younger

even myself as a HUGE,,,,,,,,, ALPINA fan ,, i admit that the battle is lost,, you have to know and understand what these cars were able to do.. 25 years ago.. all drivetrain is like a JCB or Caterpillar.. bullit proof.. and totally over engineered in every possible way through all the construction,, just fantastic,,
m30b35 is and old design,, very old actually,, but strong ,, and can be abused like nothing else ,, if proper maintenance,, have been done so far,,,,,,,

the B10 BT is a historican car in the way of speed,, 4d saloon that shocked the world back in the days for being the fastest of them all .. overtaking everybody,, with 5 people and 4 suitcase in the trunck... bye bye
i love that fact.. and never get tired to remind other young guys who think they have the fastest BMW.. but eventually they will always loose on a highspeed trip winkeye

Of course not
So your saying BT can hit genuine GPS verified 200mph ?
The E60 M5 can just about do that with 507bhp and over 2 tonnes.
How many bhp does the BT have ?

NONONO.... the BT will never hit 200mph actual speed

but 288-293 km is well known depending on wind and temperature

but flatout.. 200mph ///320 on the odo have been done million times

BT stats
360bhp (same as E46 M3 CSL)
0-62mph in 5.6 seconds
Top speed over 290kmh

Would have thought more power is needed to hit 180mph plus
Ferrari 360s have 400bhp yet their top speed is 188mph there about and much more aerodynamic

I wasn't having a pop Si and you know it, I know a lot about your old car and how much time/money you spent on it, I'm sure parting with it was extremely hard,

But...like you said a lot of fun was had and it turned a profit ! in the car game there's a LOT to be said about that :D

how about a fact, the bi turbos top speed is higher than an e46 m3 limiter or not, you will have to spend alot of money to buy something that will show it a clean pair of heels in mid range punch or top speed.

A landmark car in everyway, i'd reckon if you have the chance to own/drive one dont look the gift horse in the mouth. i took mine to nearly 300kmh on the speedo once, sure it was over reading a bit but it was still pulling which shocked me! I backed off and i had the space to keep going as i was all on my own zero traffic at the time

Regardless of top speed or performance, it was a far cooler chariot than some septic m3 cs can ever hope to be

This!!!! Who gives a toss which is quicker, faster etc.

While the e46 Mfree maybe a quick car, The Bi Sexual was built by a bespoke company around a car that was originally, a proper BMW that was built when quality was king and the blue and white badge counted for something.

I doubt there's a single BT that's shat it's boot floor or had rust at 5 years old.

They are a hero chariot of epic proportions, something the e46 M3 will never be.

Sorry to say pony but the Bi Turbo has 100 times the Kudos of an E46 M3, even a CSL!

I guess you will never "get" it.

What the fucks that got to do with it?

Todays BMW's are mass produced. You only have to look at what's on the road today, to what was on the road in say? 1989. If you drove a BMW back then? You had made it.

Now? You're just part of the masses drawn in by the cash cow they are milking. I'm one of them, as we all are. But if you want to be different today? By a Mondeo or an Insignia.

I bought the wife a Mk5 GTI for this very reason. It was that or a 120. And every f ucker and his dog has a 1 series!

Yes my uncle who is loaded had a brand new E reg light blue E34 525i New
Remember seeing it at a wedding

My other uncle bought SH E34 525i SE
Green
N Reg
Leather
Ice cold air con
Kenwood bad boy stereo
He did 150mph GPS verified in it and took on many a E46 330Ci
Great condition
Automatic
He had it chipped
I used to think E34 525i were fast. Well they felt fast when I was 18, 19
