The horn on my project is staying on at all times even with the steering wheel removed.
I'll try and explain the best I can
car was bought as a shell (325) and the wiring was a mess around the headlight area. I have sorted it all out and the horn was my last thing to get working.
Anyway when I looked in the fusebox k2 relay was missing so I put one in and the horn sounded without pressing anything(ignition on)Have tried another 2 relays with same result.
Thought it might have been the steering wheel so removed that and still the same.
I only have one horn hooked up atm.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

First thing to do is to establish if relay K2 is actually switching when you plug it, so unplug the horn and listen to see if K2 clicks when you insert it.
If so, you have a short circuit to earth on the brown/yellow wire that runs from the socket of K2, down through the duct into the cabin behind the glovebox, and then across behind the dash to the steering column.
Open up the C101 engine loom plug and socket, and see what's connected to pin 20 on the car side, and what condition it's in.

Pin 20 only needs attention if a fresh engine loom is being fitted. The reason I asked was because the brown wire is an earth and runs down through the duct under the fusebox, along with about fifty other wires, one of which is the horn control wire. If it had already been cooked, there was a possibility that it had melted into the horn wire, and shorted it to earth, causing your horn problem.
