So today I've been swapping some suspension components over and come to undo the anti roll bar linkage and the bolt holding the link to the control arm has sheared.

I've bought a new drop link however I'm struggling to find the bottom bracket with the sheared bolt anywhere. Does anyone know the correct name and part number or have a link to anywhere that has one in stock and available? As it's my main car the sooner I can get the part and fix it the better!

Cheers all!

Drill the remains out and fit a nut and bolt. You may have to grind the top of the bolt head down a bit to clear the link.
Bit late for you, if you've already bought new links, but if you'd gone for Mondeo links, you wouldn't need the bracket.

BMW part # of the bracket is 31 35 1 127 263

See here - http://ns1.e30zone.net/e30zonewiki/index.php/Bushes

You need these - Ford Mondeo estate Mk III (2000-20007) rear drop links.

Thanks lads. But I'm a eejit, I blame the hangover, I had it in my head these would work on the rear arb but they are for the front and I've a different setup there.

Is there a known shorter droplink for the rear that anyone knows of?
