Have to say I've tried a Meyle prop centre bearing in the past and it wasn't the best.
Try http://www.123spareparts.co.uk/ for Febi-Bilstein or Lemforder bushes at much less than dealer prices

I use Meyle and find them very good especially the heavy duty stuff.

Just bought a pair of rear HD shock top mounts to try, very good value, but there are some dodgy reviews on the net, anyone used them?Blitz wrote:I use Meyle and find them very good especially the heavy duty stuff.

Well I have one of their centre bearings in at the moment, no real issues to report.
The offset bushes are the same as E36 ones, which I believe are still super cheap from BMW.

Nice spot HairyScreech! Can confirm they are the same.
On that website, seems the E30 parts are no cheaper than the dealer:

Check out the equivalent E36 parts:

By the part number I believe the ones in mine are E36.
They were supplied by cotswolds bmw after they spotted the price increase for the M3 ones.
I have no idea why they come under two part numbers, perhaps one has slightly harder rubber than the other.

I recently replaced all the bushes on my e36 touring with Meyle items and have to say they pretty good quality compared to some out there and prices are reasonable too.

I think they're suspension bits are fine but i recently bought an M52 camshaft sensor which wasn't, the car ran worse with it fitted once the engine warmed up than it did before. The running fault lied elsewhere bur fitting their sensor made it even worse!

i've bought x2 sets in 6 yrs 1st set £20 about 5yrs ago 2nd set £38 about 3 yrs ago so i'm not even enquiring how much they are today ...i know what your saying though given the amount of money I've spent on the car but why pay BMW taxes when it's not really needed in this instance.

they're still the same price i think, the benefit they give to how different and better the car drives far outweighs the price imo
