Hi, I have now resorted to a manual operated roof after much deliberation. I still have all the motors etc (just disconnected). I heed the horse shoe to close approx another 20mm. Is there an adjustment on this operation?

Cheers,
Flute.

If you lift the horseshoe up, on the under side you will find a bracket on each side which attaches to the hinge. You can adjust this to bring the horseshoe further forward, or to bring it back so it sits further back once closed.

It's got 2 nuts on each side. Loosen them up and adjust slightly. Best to do it one side at a time, with slight adjustments each time to make sure you're on the right track. Make sure you don't over-do it, as you want an adequate gap around the seals too, otherwise it can cause leaks where it's not seated properly.

IIRC you can also adjust the latch which locks into position when you press the horseshoe down.

Once you've adjusted the fore/aft position of the horseshoe at the hinge, you'll then have to adjust the position of the latch to compensate for the misalignment.

No point 'adjusting' it unless you have fitted all of the manual roof latches/cables etc as you still will not be able to secure it .
