Called BMW to try and track down some history for my motor, hoping to piece together some service paperwork and an original spec sheet to solve the mystery of my interior.
They gave me 0906 209 0001 which is a premium rate number, didn't want to dial up at work but before I run up a massive bill, anyone have any views/experiences
Anyone used the car check 0906 number BMW gave me before

I phoned once, and they don't mess about stringing out the call - almost as if the employees on the line are very aware of the cost for calling them.
If it ain't broke, fix it till it is

There's about five years of service history on my car - the call took just over a minute and I regularly spend a couple of quid on small plastic toys for my girl. Why not treat myself to a couple of minutes at £1.88?
I beleive if you ask nicely there are some Zoners, or Zoners with the correct link to your original spec sheet, so that needn't be part of your call
Maybe start a new thread for that.

Used it on a cat D MINI my sister bought (needed a new bumper/bonnet/headlight/wing). It had lost all the paper work though, so we rang and they confirmed the dealers and the mileage that the work was carried out.
I then had to ring the specific dealers for a breakdown of the work. Included servicing and warranty work.
Pretty impressed and worth it for the piece of mind. Dunno how far back the electronic records go though.
