Hijack away! you wont be the first or last and ive been guilty of it enough times :)

Car got MOT'd today so ive been out all night, speedo is reading pretty much spot on, at 30mph gps is reading 28mph, at 40 its reading 38 and so on...tyres are 225 40 16's

Just to confirm, mines absolutely identical before and after to.

Z3 diff, back plate and sensor, no other changes.

Got to be your tyres. 205/50/15 puts it out about 5mph through the whole range as well.

Right i've been having a fiddle with my "trim" on the speedo it's self
after reading this..

I opened up my cluster and had a look at things,
this is how it was set

and this is where I turned it to..

which resulted in the reading being back within 2-3 MPH of that taken from the gps :D

I think I could fine tune it to read within 1 mph either way, but i'm happy with that for now

Quick question you say you used the 328 I'm guessing with an e30 centre bearing ?
Are they a direct fit ?
