need to change my radiator on my 333i. This means pushing the engine back on new mounts which unfortunately means either modifying my Alpina sump or changing the sump to a e32/e34 item. This as I understand then requires the oil pump from the donor engine or is it just the pickup? Ideally as I know the history of my oil pump I would like to keep the body and just change the pick up, is this possible? If not how involved is it to change the pump but then I have the issue of a unknown pump being used on my engine. Alternative is to mill and weld the current Alpina item as when the engine is pushed back to get the e34 radiator in the sump fouls on the steering rack.
