:?

I think I may be borderline retarded, seeing how I cannot figure out how in the hell to install a front driver window on my 2 door '89 325i. I've searched high and low, but can't find any DIYs or videos that really help. Any help from other members who've replaced front windows would be greatly appreciated. Anything, please!!!

She has power windows with the "scissor" style window hoists. Is there anything I need to loosen when replacing the window, or is it simply a matter of finding the perfect angle as I slide the window into the door?

Help out a dummy! :notworthy:

The glass is from a late model 2 door E30...it's the correct window, that isn't the issue. Thanks for asking!

That's pretty much it! Angle's not that critical though.
Useful to have a wooden or plastic wedge handy to push in between the outer seal and the glass to hold the glass up in place while you refit the lifting mech.

Usually,it's getting the lifting mech into just the right position to allow you to slide the glass in.
