Hope this is in the right section ?
Can anyone tell me if it is easy enough to remove a lip spoiler from my 318is ? It is engrained with dirt all around the edges and quite noticable and I feel it has to be removed to clean properly !
Looking under the boot lid, you can see 4 nut or bolt heads which seem to be capped with some sort of plastic or rubber grommet kinda thing !
I am sure removing will be relatively easy, but it's getting it back on the I'm a bit concerned about.

Yep, that's all that holds on the boot spoiler then push it upwards from the edge.

Sorry, yes they are 10mm plastic nuts. Only a rachet an extension bar and socket needed to remove.

If someone can hold the boot-lid three quarters open there's less chance of dropping a nut inside the lid.

Grease in the socket may help, and once removed check that the sealing washers under the spoiler are sound otherwise water will leak into boot.

Not when it left the factory, and probably not for the first ten years of its life, but after E30s dropped into scummer price range, then anything could have happened.
