I know some of you might think this is pointless, but I thought it's worth asking anyway.
Found some front sport seats in the same material/colour as my comfort seats. They have seen better days...

Mine are in good condition, so could I use any of the material from mine to fix these up? I don't mind how difficult as I just want a very cheap project to keep me busy whilst trying to save money to spend on the more crucial things of my car.
Also, my car is a two door and these don't seem to have the lever function. Can I switch those over from my comfort seats?
Thanks!

you cant fit these seats to a two door. the entire mechanisms are different. ive got a real sports seat collection and have restored a few sets. although these are loppy theyd clean up a treat but sadly you'll have to keep an eye out for a two door set.

Ahh that's what I was afraid of. There's no way of transplanting the mechs from mine to these?
Thanks for the reply, I'll just keep an eye out for some brown 2 door sport seats. They don't seem to be to everyone's tastes so shouldn't be that difficult...

you can put 4 door seats in a 2 door no issue they bolt down the same, the issue is the back does not lift. but you can slide the seat forward enough to get people in the back. unless they are very portly

All four door seats have the folding mechanism as standard. The bases of both seats are the same.
The backs of two door seats have the handles and cables to work the mechanism.
Four door seat backs use the same basic metal frame as two door seats, with provision for the handles, but there are a couple of welded on parts that are omitted.
