Recently Ive jumped back on one of my project e30 replaced the diff clutch gearbox and other bits and bobs. I noticed my carpet damp so i removed the thing poured powder around the hole cabin and today found the source for the front passenger side footwell leak it seems to be coming from the screw plate that holes the glove box what would i mostly need to do get it wielded up ? it does look solid. Also the leak at the rear still no luck but a bit of heavy rain should pin point it to me were thats coming from il be getting the suttle panel repaired as thats bubbling or once thats done should stop the interior front leak ?

Dunno much About Leak Areas In RHD Models ,
I Had a Water Leak in the Past and Sprayed Baby Powder all over the Car After Stripping it Down Completely , .
But From the The Info Written Above ,
Check the Bottom Corners for Rust.
Also There Are Screws Built in with the Car To Support the Engine Fire Wall , those Usually Are Worn Off By Rust .
Check them from Inside , and Give them a Small Knock with a Small Screw Driver , if they fall in rust then you'll be needing to Weld or Use a Sealer .
Also Check out the Glove Box Hinge 3 Screws , then If there's any rust , Clean with A Metal Brush and Use a Sealer ,
I had To Install my Hinge Permanently After alot of rust from under the battery in My LHD .
It Sucks , but thankfully Now Leaks Now .
And Installing the Glove Box Is A Pain in the Arse ,
I have to Remove the Passenger seat every time i need to install or disassemble my Glove Box .
Look closely . and tell me what you find .
Other wise i'll help you with the leaks if it's still leaking no leaks in the area i told you about .
Cheers

I've posted on this particular rust area before, and expect that it's mentioned in the wiki E30 buying guide.
I'm afraid that this indicates extremely serious rust and weakening of one of the cars most important structural parts - the front bulkhead.
The bulkhead in this area consists of two sheets of steel, and it is rusting from the inside outwards as a result of water leaking between the two sheets from the bottom of the scuttle box.
If you are renewing the scuttle panel you will at least have the opportunity to deal with the failed sealant and stop further rusting.

One the cars at the body shop and we remove the plastic trim on the outside and cut away the scuttle bubbling and fit new metal il use some sealant under it hopeful that should stop it.
