Ive usually use r888 205 width on mine but went on a track day with my cousin in his porsche 944 fitted with ns2r tyres and am gobsmacked by the grip levels in both dry and wet. Has anyone run these? The problem is theyre only available in a 195 width... has anyone run a 195? Seems atad narrow. I may look for a set of 16"s :/

I'm looking at these for the front (drift) once my A539s die out. All I've seen is positive reviews.

I would take your experience in a Porsche, as just that. Unless you are able to quantify levels of grip and have back to back comparisons then you might end up wasting money.

I was at the ring last week, a friend of mines has a basic logger on his car (02 E46 M3). With Khumo road tyres (KU39's) he managed an 8.27 BTG and with brand new (but scrubbed in) Federal RSR's his best lap was 8:21 and maximum deceleration was 1.1G.

Doesn't really say much about the highly regarded Federals.......especially when he thought the Khumos were rubbish because they produced too much squeal under cornering loads. Just goes to show how important is it to have verified data to show the effects of different hardware.

I should have said he had 4x888 and 4x ns2r as a trial, the ns2r went through a better heat cycle they didnt overheat as quickly as the r888 and grip levels seemed to feel the same, id say the ns2r were better in the afternoon on afew wet sessions we had. Im just gutted they dont make them in a 205/r15

The ns2r are 195 fitment only ive ran 215 hoosiers with no issues

Ive been using ns2r s for steering tyres on my last few drift cars. (E30 and e36) and am really happy with them so far
