i need a new centre bearing for my M3 prop but i need to know if it's an early or late one... they changed in 09/87 according to this: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do ... g=26&fg=10

annoyingly i can't trace the chassis number or number plate of the M3 to do it the easy way...

this is the car that the prop came from:

The only difference between the early and late is the distance betwwen the mounting holes, its the same part for all E30's so just get the one that matches the year of the chassie it's going onto.

Offer it up to the underside of the car before you fit it to the prop so as not to put it on the wrong way round.
One side is slightly shorter than the other on the late version.
There is NO nucleus.
