Hi, small question i have a e30 325 1991 it has a big case diff and went to replace 1 of the driveshafts. I also have a e30 318 1987 model small case (that ive read are the same driveshafts) that im breaking so decided to fit the driveshaft from this to save buying one but are the splines different in the hubs? It seemed the non abs driveshaft was bigger and wouldnt fit i counted the splines on shaft both 27. Any help would be great. Thanks Tommy.

The shafts are the same size between small and large cases. But are different for abs and non abs shafts.

Where did you order the half shafts from?

Thanks for the reply, i had read that the size was the same just i wasn't sure if maybe the hub was different on pre-87 models. I got them off ebay.
