Anyone know the above? They way they are selling available genuine parts with some crazy mark ups! The worst is little fixings which cost a £1 from BMW and these lot are pushing them on for £4-£5 each.

Anyone looking to buy parts from them, try your local dealers first, probably get it for a fraction of the price. (never thought I'd be saying that about BMW's)

Was looking on ebay the other day for fixings and clips and came across them myself.
I ended up at the dealers for them after seeing the prices.

His best offer option is a joke as well. No matter how much of a reasonable offer you send him, he will always counter offer with around 50p off. What's the point in having the best offer option! :?

Why is he a con man, if you can find a way to make a little profit out of something these days than fair play to the chap.

I have more respect for someone who is enterprising and starts a little business than someone who makes do with there low wage job or even worse sponges off the government.

More fool the lazy or stupid ones who buy things like this, some people may even know you can get em cheaper but like the convenience of buying via sites like ebay!

its not like the seller is trying to hide the fact you can get these items cheaper!

I bought from him

Ok not cheap but i was too lazy to drive to my local bmw dealer and order 2 rear number plate fixing grommets. They arrived from him well packed and were quick to arrive. He accepted my best offer so i was happy with the service even though it was only a few quid.

Typical "valley boy" chancers. South Wales is full of them.

Con? well not legally, ethical business model? That's up to your interpretation and the standards you expect from humanity.

Personally wouldn't touch anything from them with a 10ft pole, they are really fecking annoying when your looking for stuff on ebay though, hundreds of there adds to scroll through.

Me personally I don't like being made a mug of, so when I see ads like by this guy I get annoyed. Yeah it's down to me whether I buy or not, but then again everyone's quick to slate people selling overpriced rusty cars, this is the same thing no?

Whether you agree or not, just take it as a heads up to members that's he's overpriced if anyone didn't already know.

Indeed, some of the stuff they are selling is utter crap as well, disassembling components and selling off what amount to one shot/use items is a bit suspect.
Can't think of a good example off the top of my head but there have been a few bits I have seen them post that were absolutely useless without the rest of the assembly.

I don't know why people don't just buy grommets, bolts, washers, clips, fixings from BMW Dealer they are generally quite cheap and you got the proper stuff!!!

What's the point in owning a BMW and being a cheap skate and putting shit parts or so called genuine BMW parts which may not even be the real deal

Because 'people' are stupid and would rarely consider that you could actually buy parts for a BMW from a BMW dealership

Only example is recently the clutch pedal snapped on the missus' Audi, (9am, rush hour right at the front of several sets of traffic lights :o: ) luckily I was driving. Anyway, I needed to fix car ASAP so couldn't be bothered to go home and spend ages trying to save a few quid buying 2nd hand bits on Ebay, and as I was a stones throw from the local VAG dealer I just stopped in.
Spoke to parts man, and 5 minutes & £35 later had my pedal and bits & pieces required ordered ready for next day.
Later saw just the plastic fixings alone on Ebay for £10, those bits were only £3 at the dealers.

Common fault by all accounts the pedal failing
