So I'm just finishing up this M52b28 wiring and prep before I attempt an install, I've got a 318ti temp switch install in the side of the rad and I've got the e30 brown temp sensor installed in the side if the head. Wiring wise, will I need the e30 brown temp wiring plug? Also is there a preferred method for wiring the temp switch?

The e36 loom plugs into the e30 brown temp switch.

Danthe makes a nice plug and play loom for the temp switch

So no correct in understanding the e36 temp sensor and the E30 sensor both run at the same time and both run off the E36 loom? I'll enquire about this switch loom.

????

Extract and cut the brown/purple wire from the E36 loom to the four pin engine temp. sensor plug, near to the plug, abnd connect the brown/purple to an E30 brown temp. sensor plug and short piece of loom, which should be a single brown/purple wire.

For the temp. switch on the radiator, replicate the E30 aircon fan and switch loom, which runs across the front of the car, back the LH inner wing, and into the fusebox through an existing rubber nipple which you just cut the tip off.
